Dear all, Yesterday we had a report from a member of public that reported that she had seen a suspicious male sat in a car near to a play park where they lived and took photos of not only his car but partially of him too.

After carrying out some checks on the vehicle we have found out that this was a hire car and not someone's personal vehicle.

Whilst waiting for a response from the hire company we drove around the location in Abbots Barton and located a male sat in a different vehicle which was also very new with a non-Hampshire registration plate. This too was a hire car from the same hire company.

The male was spoken to and due to inconsistent reasons for being in the area was searched.

Items were located on him and in his car and he was arrested for ‘Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs’.

Looking at the photo we received we also believe it was the same male who was in the other car.

Every bit of information is important to us from members of public and if at the time it doesn't feel right please report suspicious incidents to us and we will do our best to identify the good from the bad.

We do not expect you to take photos as this may not be safe to do so but will accept as much detail as you can give.
