We are appealing for witnesses or information following a hate related assault in Rooksdown park. 

We received a report that on Tuesday 8th April 2025 between 19:45-20:15 a female walking her dog was assaulted by another female. The female suspect was part of a larger group of around 7 people. The victim also reported being verbally abused by others in the group. The incident happened near to a bench by the skate park. The female suspect is described as being white, approximately 5ft 5”, medium to long blonde hair in a ponytail, slim build and wearing a black parker jacket with fur hood.
