I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Speeding, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Good Morning,
Hedge End Sector Community Speedwatch (CSW) Update – July and August.
Our amazing Hedge End CSW team have completed 7 sessions in July and 5 in August. Please see the photo for the stats. As always - a big THANK YOU to the volunteers for giving up their time to help make our roads safer.
Whilst CSW is primarily an educational scheme, the data that is collected is then shared with our Neighbourhood Police Officers and the Roads Policing Unit, so that they know where to best allocate enforcement resources.
OUR TEAM NEEDS MORE VOLUNTEERS - The Hedge End Sector CSW covers - Hedge End, West End, Botley, Bursledon, Netley and Hamble.
CAN YOU SPARE JUST A FEW HOURS A MONTH? If you are interested, aged 18 or above and would like further information on the scheme - please email Citizens in Policing at speedwatch@hampshire.police.uk or use this link to fill out the application form - https://gbr01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Forlo.uk%2F6VONL&data=05%7C02%7Cmica.woodcock%40hampshire.police.uk%7Cf9f0965b7b8c4e2640da08ddf1e2c5a0%7C23de4379957a41a69587165d6c6b4dbd%7C0%7C0%7C638932678505802432%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=p2zxJc%2FgkuaCBtvgz4H4UTJhtcBz5ulHB1wrrDZycJk%3D&reserved=0
