Witness appeal after Aldershot collision leaves cyclist with serious injuries

Officers investigating a serious collision in Aldershot are appealing for witnesses.

We were called at 5.21pm yesterday, 3 February, to reports of a collision at the Cranmore Lane roundabout with the A325 Farnborough Road.

The cyclist, a man in his 60s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle, a 66-year-old man from Farnham, was arrested on suspicion of serious injury by careless driving, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs, and failing to provide a field impairment test. 

He has been released on police bail as enquiries continue. 

We have conducted a number of enquiries and are appealing for anyone with information, or dash-cam footage, that may assist us to get in contact.
